Summer Flowers

Hey, it's been a long time since we've last posted any design. I had originally created this design for the summer since it's perfect whether its for going to the park with friends or for no special reason at all, but it works well in the fall as well.

To create this design, I first applied a coat of NK's Calcium Gel Base Coat to protect my nails. Next, I applied two coats of Del Sol's Superhero. I like the Del Sol colors because under the sun they will change color. Yes, these polishes are more expensive, but I like to think of it as getting two colors for the price of what I'm paying. In this case, the polish changed from a metallic blue to a purple after coming into contact with the sun. You don't have to use these polishes because any color will work. :) I just tried Del Sol because I like to think of it as having one manicure inside, and another one while outside. Next, I took Milani Holographic's Digital and created one stroke down the middle of my nail. For me, one coat of this color was enough, but if you want your nails to have more glitter, you can apply a second coat. On the stripe down the middle I added white flowers to complete my design. You can drawn your own flowers or if you're lazy like me, you can just add some stickers. The placement of the design is also up to you. Finally, I used NK's Express Top Coat to protect my design.

When recreating this design, you don't have to use the same colors I did. You can use whatever colors you want, and let your imagination take over. Have fun trying out this design everyone! =)

Prom Nails

Hi everyone! It has been awhile since our last post. Prom season is here once again so I have decided to do prom nails. I have used blue to match my dress but you can choose whatever color you want that will best fit your dress. This design is simple to do and can be worn for other special occasions as well or just on a normal daily basis. Hope you enjoy!

Now let's get to the design. First, I applied a coat of NK's Calcium Gel Base Coat to protect my nails. Next, I applied two coats of NK's Pearl. Then, I applied a coat Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear Blue It diagonally across my nails. The lines don't have to be perfectly drawn because it will get covered. Finally, I applied a thin silver line along the diagonal which not only covered the line, but also made the design more unique. Of course, always remember to put a layer of top coat to protect your design. Here I used NK's Blue Diamond Topcoat.

Have fun recreating the design!
